In the Field

After getting the shop set up to make Serving trays and Dinner hearths, I’d spent many hours organizing and amassing the right supplies. I managed to find there was a large demand during COVID for (WFH) services. People were setting up offices, home gyms, purchasing outdoor furniture and it had to be assembled and placed correctly, according to the clients demands.

So my new occupation became a service person called on to do everything from installing mounted tv’s to outdoor mail-post and boxes. I had managed to become the go to guy for mounting mirrors to artwork of all sizes and weights. My toolbox was now mobile!

This was quite a change of environment. During COVID everyone was huddled inside working from home and they needed help. So I went from the lonely workshop to houses to assemble, install, and replace requested equipment.

I enjoyed the mobile life, running from job to job. My skills improved and so did my reputation and income. I endorsed the personalized service customers craved. It was a relationship builder and I was often called back to complete new tasks. Enjoy the little gifts of the day, they’ll keep you alive and give you strength to improve your skills.
